PROFESSIONAL CAREER:

Being licensed in 2008 was not easy.  Left and right people were calling me crazy.  "You know the market is trash, right?" was a question I received frequently. However, I felt that people still had housing needs.  Being only 22 years of age, I sought after my demographics.  I knew that young people were the future of our economy.  Young or seasoned, buyers and sellers need to know how good of an investment home ownership really is.  Although a lot of realtors did not renew their licenses in the years after, I stayed with the grind and moved my business forward, NEVER supplementing my income with another job.

In 2012 Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's award winning new agent training program reached out to me and asked if I would help new agents get their businesses started.  They saw the business I had built in the time frame I built it and wanted me to share my knowledge.  Although I don't disclosure ALL my secrets, I felt honored to help.  Even today I dedicate a couple hours every Monday morning and help/coach new agents.

In 2014 I was approached by our company president about an Office Managing Broker position.  I was asked to co-manage two producing offices in our company which totaled over 100 agents.  My core responsibilities were to coach and train agents with their business and transactions.  I helped recruit new agents and helped agents from other companies see the benefits of working with Coldwell Banker Residential. However there was a big downfall.  In our company we do not have competing brokers.  Our brokers are not in sales.  Brokers are full-time employees for the company who's main focus is agents and their success. After 6 months of acting broker, I had to put in my two weeks notice.  I gained vast amounts of knowledge managing two offices, but I missed meeting with sellers, showing homes, and the emotional tie to each closing, each client, each relationship.

Today I look back and the great experience of being a managing broker and I can now offer that knowledge to my clients.  I have been on both side of this business, sales and management, I have the experience that most agents don't.

PERSONAL LIFE:

I have been married for 6 wonderful years to my beautiful wife April. I grew up in Kaysville and graduated from Davis High.  My wife grew up in Syracuse and graduated from Syracuse High. We have two EXHAUSTING but lovely children, Abbie and Autzen. We love the St. George, UTAH area and visit often. Golf is a passion of mine and one that I have taken to a competitive level. Golf is a game of discipline, honesty, integrity, and one that demands practice and dedication.  I see a great comparison between golf and running a real estate business. Our first home was in West Point, UT.  We later moved to the Ogden area.  In 2015 we sold our home and now reside in Syracuse, UT.
